The Muasher Center for Fertility and IVF staff are registered nurses with many years of experience in the women's health care field. They have solid knowledge of infertility, such as IVF, ovulation induction and donor egg treatments. They provide extensive support and will "hold your hand" and walk you through your treatments. We have nurses that you will work with throughout the course of your treatment at the Center.
You will meet "one on one" with our nurses to implement your prescribed plan of care. Each of our nurses has vast experience teaching patients and is able to assess each couples individual learning needs.
Our nurses will work with you during all phases of treatment at the Center. They are available to answer questions and help guide you to any appropriate resources you may need. They are committed to helping you achieve your dream of becoming parents.
Jessica is a Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.
She has worked in various inpatient and outpatient settings as both a staff nurse and nurse practitioner to include labor and delivery, gynecologic oncology, antepartum, medical/surgical, postpartum, newborn nursery and infertility. Jessica has also worked as a community educator teaching childbirth and newborn care classes. She has achieved her advanced cardiac life support certification (ACLS).
She also continues her position as adjunct faculty in the undergraduate School of Nursing at Catholic University in Washington, DC.
Jessica is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
Sue served as the IVF coordinator for The Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine - Northern Virginia / DC Center. She has over 20 years of experience in women's healthcare. She spent most of her time in Labor and Delivery and in the women's Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). She has additional experience as a manager in an OB/GYN office. Her anesthesia experience is invaluable to our Center's accreditation with the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAA). She has also achieved her advanced cardiac life support certification (ACLS). She is a Certified Critical Care Obstetrical nurse.
Sue taught the critical care section of The Perinatal Nursing Fellowship course for new nurses. She also developed and implemented a home childbirth education course for high-risk obstetrical patients. She later tailored her course to meet all the needs of the expectant family.
She is a member of The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Nurses in Reproductive Medicine Professional Group. She is an honored member of "Empire Who's Who Among Executive and Professionals 2005-2006".
Venecia is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from Villa Julie College now Stevenson University in Stevenson, MD. She began her nursing career working at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC in a step-down Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery, and after 3 years chose to focus in reproductive medicine and infertility. After she worked at a major reproductive center in Atlanta, GA for 2 years, she returned to our community and joined MCFIVF. Venecia is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and is fluent in Spanish.
